The rare design on this rug features fun tribal patterns and natural dyes in bright primary colours from vivid red and cobalt blue to accents of sunny yellow and sage green. Caucasian rugs were woven by nomadic tribes in the Caucasus Mountains, which border Iran and were once home to hundreds of diverse tribes seeking refuge. Their rugs are known for stunning geometric designs and vivid natural colours.
Although we ensure that all rugs arrive in their best condition, due to the nature of antique and handmade rugs, irregularities and signs of wear are to be expected and are not considered faults.
