Gia is a Persian Afshar rug which has been over dyed to create a beautiful soft colour palette. Afshar rugs were handwoven by semi nomads in the southeast of Iran and are known for their stylised floral geometric designs and tribal artistry.
Although we ensure that all rugs arrive professionally cleaned and in their best condition, due to the nature of antique and handmade rugs, some irregularities and signs of wear are to be expected.
