Lumi is a signed Swedish flatweave rug by Anna-Greta Sjöqvist, featuring a calm blue field framed by ivory borders and delicate geometric motifs. A prolific mid-century textile designer, Sjöqvist is considered an important figure in Swedish textile design, and her rugs are now highly collectible.
Handwoven in wool using the traditional rölakan technique, this vintage Swedish rug combines clean Scandinavian modern design with subtle decorative detail and colour interplay, an elegant and balanced piece.
