Origin: Malayer
Age: Approx 100 years old

Marisa is a Persian Malayer runner with a beautiful palette of blues and terracotta and a wonderful patina. The pretty floral motif repeats throughout the length of the runner. The Malayer region is known for producing some of the most ornate Persian rugs, often known for their mesmerising and intricate repeating patterns.
Each runner is entirely one of a kind and cannot be replicated or replaced. As with any antique, the subtle irregularities, marks of age and evidence of hand craftsmanship are part of their beauty.
We ensure that all rugs and runners are professionally cleaned before sending to you. If you would like to see our antique runners in person, please get in touch to request a showroom visit, a home visit or a personal consultation.
