Nesa is an earth toned, geometric Anatolian kilim. Turkish kilims were hand-woven on village and nomadic looms in vivid, naturally dyed colours, a tradition stretching back thousands of years. Kilims were woven for the practicalities of daily life and used as floor and wall coverings, storage bags, and prayer mats. Nesa features a beautiful brown and taupe field scattered with the classic hand-on-hips motif, bordered by the comb motif both traditionally associated with marriage and fertility.

Although we ensure that all rugs arrive professionally cleaned and in their best condition, due to the nature of antique and handmade rugs, some irregularities and signs of wear are to be expected.
